It's hard to believe that it was back in 1995 that a local group
of runners thought that it would be fun to put together a band
to play at their annual Mohegan Strider Running Club Banquet.
Chris Hansen (guitar) had just left the bands "Last Summer" and
"Act I" and was looking for another musical endeavor. Chris and
Curtiss Thompson (guitar/vocals) brainstormed about the concept
of forming a band while watching live music after a local road race.
Curtiss is a member of "The Village Jammers" as well as "Run for
Cover." Lucky for Chris and Curtiss, Jim Carper (bass/vocals) of
"DeeBolay" and Todd Guertin (drums/vocals), of too many bands to
mention here, were members of the club who were also willing to
